In my 30+ years in communications, I have been a typographer, graphic designer, copywriter, marketing consultant, reporter, features writer, and an editor.
My varied skill set matches the needs of indie authors in particular — from coaching writers in both craft and the technical aspects of the publishing process, to editing, to designing eye-catching book covers, interior layouts, author websites, and marketing assets.
Having self-published myself, I know how much heart and soul goes into it. I take great care in helping you create a book that reflects your vision. Almost all of my work is by referral and/or repeat clients. I particularly enjoy poetry books/anthologies, image-laden creative nonfiction, and the self-help genre. At this time, I don’t take on AI-generated projects.

I worked with writer Tamara Vukusic on several rounds of edits, and designed the cover, interior layout and her author website.

Poet and Editor Jacquie Pearce asked me to design the cover and interior for a haiku anthology on trains, home and journeys.

I worked extensively with chef Anise Thorogood to create an elegant, gorgeous book she could be proud of.
